my philosophy

After studying photography at the Amsterdam Photo Academy I specialized in graphic design (which is my first and foremost love in life) I am a senior designer in one of `Holland’s leading advertising agencies, indeed one of the most creative agencies in the country, called “True Ideas’ . By being true to myself, I can fully utilize my passion for both design and photography.

A couple of months ago I stumbled by accident upon a cute little camera, called a Lubitel 2. This little Russian analogue wonder sparked something in me:.analogue photography! Being schooled in the digital world of photography this little camera opened up a completely new world to me. Buying the Lubitel led to many new analogue camera’s allowing me to fully focus on new ways of imagery. The next camera on my wish list is the famous Hasselblad 500c/m. I have also mastered the age old way of developing color negatives. And my god, I love it. What a marvelous and far reaching world! The next big step for me is to attract clients that share my love for the craftsmanship of analogue photography. Will you be the one?
